Sharp Microelectronics of the
Americas, a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation is seeking a
Contract Web Operations Support Specialist
for our Camas, Washington facility.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible
for designing, developing and maintaining content for SMA’s websites,
including participating in establishing overall program goals and primary
liaison to the product groups, department managers, technical documentation
group, support services, human resources and contract developers and
interface with other SHARP business units on joint web projects.
Additionally, the successful candidate will develop and maintain our
search engine optimization (SEO) strategy on web sites and multiple
social media platforms. Candidate will oversee all company web
operations working with the IT Director and Manager on the direction
and purpose.
Job Responsibilities:
Qualified applicants for the
Contract Web Operations Support Specialist position must meet the following
requirements:
- Manage technical
support for problems related to internal and external sites. Must
have working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, SQL, PHP, ASP.net, C#, AJAX
and CSS and web design support software tools.
- Management of SMA’s
website, including periodic evaluation of links and usability as well
as insuring content is up to date at all times. Must be able to
provide management with metrics on site usage and SEO optimization.
- Analyze statistics
and create reports on Web site performance.
- Identify and implement
SEO strategies; optimize all web sites for high search engine rankings.
- Daily management
of outbound email campaigns and creation of custom micro sites.
- Promote the sites
to appropriate internal and external audiences by organizing its use
as well as information and training seminars and encouraging/evangelizing
the use of the sites.
- Coordinate content
providers, monitor and enforce graphic guidelines of the sites including:
file formatting, layout and brand guidelines.
- This position will
work in a collaborative manner with the Marketing Communications group
and other departments.
- Research emerging
technologies and services that may enhance the web experience.
- Assist IT staff
with operation of networks, file servers, mail servers and other systems
as required.
Job Requirements:
- Competency in HTML,
Javascript, SQL, PHP, ASP.net, C#, AJAX and SCC and web development
and support software packages; including Photoshop, Illustrator and
Dreamweaver.
